《诗经》(Shī Jīng), or "The Book of Songs." This Spring and Autumn Period (770 - 476 BC) collection of poems is considered one of the five Confucian classics
贾黄中 (Jiǎ Huáng Zhong) was an honest and upstanding government official during the Sòng Dynasty (宋, 960 - 1279). Once, he discovered priceless treasures and valuables in a warehouse, and he reported them to the emperor immediately. He also cared deeply for the people, even going as far as to provide them with food from his own personal stores when the land fell into famine. Such actions earned 贾黄中 a great deal of respect.
However, 贾黄中 also spent a very, very long time considering how to respond to various situations, and this caused the emperor to warn him against being too cautious.
